Little Flame
Burn small or big,
On a little wick.
Red, blue, orange, yellow,
Warm this little fellow.
With a sweet scent, and dim glow,
It flickers high then low.
Ambers burn slowly, melting wax as it goes,
Soft with heat it knows…
Kindle our spirits fine
Little candle burns till its time,
And when it finally came,
It was “good bye’ to the flame.
With a quick blow, the smoke starts to grow,
Extinguishes the last of the glow.
We are now in the dark once lit with a little flame,
Not big, but lights just the same!
